According to a survey among real estate investors in 2023, Tokyo and Sydney were selected to have the best development prospects among Asia-Pacific cities in 2024. Tokyo and Sydney were also in the leading cities to have good investment prospects in 2024.

A score of less than 4 is generally poor, between 4 and 5.5 is fair, and more than 5.5 is generally good.
54 individuals were personally interviewed, and survey responses were received from 149 individuals. 94% of the survey respondents were from Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, and South Korea.
